Pickle Pals, started in 2023, is an adaptive pickleball program designed especially for children ages 10-17 with special needs. Focused on building skills and having fun, this inclusive class pairs each participant with a dedicated “Pal” to encourage friendship and social interaction. All “Pals” are high school volunteers with a passion for helping others, and of course pickleball. Through engaging pickleball and agility activities, Pickle Pals creates a positive, welcoming environment where every child can build their confidence—on and off the pickleball court.
